About Us

Our goal at Congregation Shirat Shalom is to worship God in accordance with the faith of Judaism, to cultivate a love and understanding of our Jewish heritage, to stimulate and encourage fellowship in the Jewish community and to strengthen the bonds of loyalty with Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world.  In addition, Congregation Shirat Shalom strives to provide Jews in the Las Vegas/Henderson area with an affordable connection, or reconnection, with traditional Jewish values, Torah and spirituality.

The Congregation provides an uplifting, musical and peaceful worship service, in the Reform style, integrating our traditional values into contemporary life.  We promote a sense of belonging and family among our members, as well as a commitment to the support of Israel, to social concerns and to mitzvot, all within a warm and caring community, that has respect and concern for all.
